Buena Vista is an architecturally-designed, purpose-built vacation rental property with direct beach frontage.
Buena Vista is located on the western-most tip of Roatan in a quiet community between the desirable tourist zones of West Bay and West End.
Situated on a hillside and cascading down to a semi-private white-sand beach, the property orientation offers an idyllic combination of elevation and direct beach access.

Property Amnenities
Buena Vista is within walking distance of many tourism and gastronomy attractions. However don’t be surprised if the stunning views, infinity pool, semi-private beach and excellent amenities of Buena Vista tempt you to stay close to home.

- Generators to ensure continuity of electrical service in the event of a power outage
- Private well and closed-circulation water system to ensure excellent quality water in all guests accommodations. Water is pumped from a private well to a closed cistern and through a water softener and a multi-stage filtration system before reaching the apartments

West Bay Vacation Suites
Buena Vista has 8 apartments available to guests.
Oceanfront: There are 6 ocean-front studios, all with full kitchen, laundry and spacious ocean-facing decks. 3 studios are configured with a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom floor plan. The second bedroom has a private entrance, private deck and kitchenette and can be locked out to form an independent studio apartment. The other 3 studios are configured with a spacious one bedroom/one bathroom floor plan.
Garden: There are 2 spacious garden apartments located at the highest elevation of the property. This building is fringed by shady trees and there are glimpses to the sea from the front decks. The garden apartments are offered at a slightly lower price point and are oriented towards longer-term rentals.

- Kitchen tools such as microwave, blender, toaster and coffee maker

- Serta mattresses (imported from the US)
- Bed linens and towels
- Dedicated cable and wifi access point in each apartment
**A selection of snorkel gear is available for guest use but if you are a keen snorkeler Buena Vista recommends you to bring your own gear or purchase a set from the local Mares or Cressi stores

Cleanliness & Biosecurity
Sondra and Pedro understand that cleanliness is key to your feeling of well-being in a vacation rental. They maintain high standards of housekeeping and the cleanliness of Buena Vista is immediately apparent on arrival.
- Deep cleaning and sanitation protocols are applied for apartment change-overs. When a guest checks in for the first time the apartment will be spotless.
- While guests are in-house they will receive weekly housekeeping. More frequent housekeeping is available on request.
- The gardens are immaculately tended.
- The beach is raked and cleaned daily.
- COVID-19 Biosecurity protocols are observed and use of PPE is enforced in all guest service and living areas.

Security & Safety
Sondra and Pedro understand that personal security and safety is important to you when travelling abroad. The following considerations have been taken to ensure the well-being of the guests while on property.
Architectural Design: Buena Vista has been architecturally designed to create a secure environment.
- From the beach there is only a single point of access to the property which can be easily controlled and monitored.
- Each of the apartments are accessed via an internal corridor which is well lit and consistently monitored.
- Each apartment is fitted with a solid door and quality locks.
- It is not possible to access the apartments via the front decks.
- Sondra and Pedro live full-time on-site. They will advise their guests on how to conduct themselves safely while on the island and can quickly deal with any emergencies that arise. <
Staffing: The property is staffed 24/7. All staff are carefully selected and most have been with the property since it first opened.
Personal Accountability: Sondra and Pedro take seriously the matter of guest safety and well-being of their guests. They live full-time on-site and the property is not open to guests if they are not on island. If a guest has a personal emergency while on Roatan Sondra and Pedro will give the matter their personal attention until the issue is resolved or the guest is safely on their way home.
