The Buena Vista Resort is an amazing place to stay. The accommodations are fantastic, the resort has all the amenities you can ask for. the location between West Bay and West End is ideal. The beach and area around the resort are very well maintained and quiet. I would highly recommend this resort and plan on staying here again in the future.

Buena Vista was absolutely amazing!!! Pedro and Sondra went above and beyond to make our stay so special. The resort is so beautiful I had a hard time deciding where to hangout and relax because there’s so many wonderful spaces. I honestly can’t think of anything they could do to make our stay any better.

From the minute you arrive at Buena Vista you are treated like family. Sondra and Pedro are 2 of the best people you will ever meet. The condos are spotless and have everything you need to make your stay stress free. The views are amazing. This was our 2nd stay and we can not wait to go back.

My husband and I hv been visiting Roatan since 2011, only taking a few years off because of covid. Roatan is our favorite island because the snorkeling/diving is INCREDIBLE, the food is delicious and the island people are always so kind, gracious and helpful! We usually rent beachfront houses when we come but I toured Buena Vista the end of my visit in 2022 and decided this year, I really wanted my husband and I to stay at Buena Vista! Now that we have stayed there, no more inviting more people unless they are good in the 1 of 2 bedrooms. I don't want to stay anywhere else! This property offers beautiful 1 and 2 bedrooms ( studio as well) , gorgeous ocean views from every room, rain showers, awesome beach towels, cozy beds, fabulous full kitchen, washer and dryer, hammocks on the bedroom decks, paddle boards, kayaks with the seats in them, a really beautiful pool, 2 bbq areas, a roof top for the amazing sunsets and the best bonus is the wild macaws who come to eat off of a few perches the owners Sondra and Pedro have build, along with a neighboring property. This property is so clean with all really nice decor. Already booked with 2 friends next year, hoping to get my husband to come back for another week! One more thing, the location of Buena Vista is the BEST! It sits on the beach between West End and West Bay. You can walk to both or take water taxi (5.00pp each way). Only thing to know is there are alot of stairway’s throughout the property to get to pool, beach,rooftop,your room, depending on where that is. There is no elevator. After 2 knee replacements in the last 13 months, I was concerned about that but I had no problem. You get to work off those amazing island pina coladas and Salvida beer lol. Do not hesitate, book your stay here! I am high maintenance, very picky with where I will stay and Buena Vista gave us a 10/10 vacation. See you next year Sondra and Pedro!!

What can we say? Buena Vista was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Sondra and Pedro were exceptional hosts - super helpful and kind. We loved our condo and all the common areas, especially the pool area, barbecue deck and beachfront. We so appreciated how clean and aestetic everything was throughout the resort. The location was perfect for accessing the beach, snorkeling, restaurants and shops. We can't wait to come back!!!

The place is a quiet spot between West End and West Bay. Great staff who will assist and answer all your questions. Sondra & Pedro are wonderful hosts. The condos have a huge island and is equipped to cook your meals. There are nearby restaurants to eat out. Great place to spend on the beach and watch the incredible sunsets.

Buena Vista is located conveniently between West End and West Bay so we could easily walk/taxi/water taxi to both. We liked that the beach was quiet and never crowded. In our 10-night stay, we never had any trouble getting chairs at the pool or beach and kayaks/paddleboards were also always available for us to use. The resort grounds and rooms were very clean and well kept. What makes Buena Vista special is the kindness and willingness of the hosts and staff to help with whatever you need. I 100% recommend Buena Vista and I cannot wait to return!

This is our second stay at Buena Vista. The condo units and new, clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Refreshing pool up top and steps from the beach with kayaks and paddle boards to use. The location is perfect between West Bay and West End. Both walkable or convenient water taxis. The best part of Buena Vista are the wonderful hosts, Sondra & Pedro, who make you feel welcome and will help with any arrangements or issues. Overall - Buena Vista is the best.
